2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process and respond to your search queries using AI
• Authenticate your account and secure your session
• Save and organize your listings and projects
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, deal alerts)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the platform

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

3. Email Communications

We may send you emails related to your use of the Service, including:

• Account verification and security notices
• Epic Deal alerts (when a watched project finds a below-market listing)
• Service announcements and important updates

You can manage your alert preferences in your account settings. You may not opt out of security-related communications while your account is active.

Email communications only reference physical and financial property attributes (price, acreage, zoning, utilities, terrain, flood zone status). We never include demographic, neighborhood, or school-based scoring in any communications.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a managed database platform hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States. We use the following security measures:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext
• All data transmission uses TLS/HTTPS encryption
• Database access is restricted via row-level security policies
• Authentication sessions use secure, short-lived JWT tokens

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

FindLand.ai uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage for:

• Authentication session management (Supabase auth tokens)
• Remembering your preferences within a session

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Most browsers allow you to control cookie settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using the Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.

Search history and usage logs may be retained in aggregate, anonymized form for platform improvement purposes.
